Significance

This project is an international environmental protection project implemented in 2025, which adopts a combined process of two-stage CDFU and KFM filters for the treatment of oily wastewater. It achieves high-efficiency oil removal through pure physical separation technology without the addition of any chemical agents. The system features a skid-mounted design with a compact floor area (L:8.5m, W:2.2m, H:3.6m) and is equipped with fully automatic operation capability, making it adaptable to the characteristics of wastewater with high viscosity and high pollution load in heavy oil power stations.

The technical advantages of this project are reflected in that the ultrafine bubbles (5-30μm in diameter) generated by CDFU enhance the oil-water separation efficiency. Combined with the advanced purification performance of KFM filters, the system ensures that the effluent water quality stably meets the specified standards. This project bears great environmental significance for local Sierra Leone and has solved the intractable problem of oily wastewater treatment in the process of heavy oil power generation.
